TVS Motors revenue from operations, meanwhile, rose around 33.5% YoY to Rs 16,295.52 crore during the April-June quarter of the ongoing financial year 2027, from Rs 12,210 crore in the year-ago period.
Along with the Q1 earnings, TVS Motors said that its board of directors have considered and approved the plan to raise up to Rs 1,000 crore through the issuance of non-convertible debentures (NCD) and commercial papers, or availing of other permissible borrowings.
TVS Motor's revenue rose more than 33% YoY, while total expenses increased over 32% YoY to Rs 14,894 crore during the quarter. The company reported its highest-ever quarterly EBITDA of Rs 1,779 crore, up 41% YoY, with the EBITDA margin improving to 12.8%.

“Commodity prices witnessed a sharp upward trend during the quarter due to global market uncertainties resulting in increased input costs. The Company partially mitigated the cost increases through price adjustments and focused cost optimisation initiatives, including scale benefits,” the company said.During the first quarter of the financial year 2026-27, TVS Motor registered the highest quarterly sales. The overall two and three-wheelers grew by 28% at 1.63 million units, as against 1.28 million units registered in the quarter ended June 2025. Motorcycles sales during the quarter under review grew by 19% YoY to 74 lakh units as against.62 lakh units in the quarter ended June 2025.
Scooters sales during the quarter under review grew by 36% at 68 lakh units, as against 50 lakh units in the same time last year. International Business reported a growth of 33%.
