Triveni Engineering shares change hands among promoters

MUMBAI: Man Mohan Sawhney, a promoter of Triveni Engineering & Industries, today consolidated his stake in the company by picking up additional shares worth Rs 64.5 lakh from another promoter group entity.

Sawhney bought 50 lakh shares held by another promoter in Triveni Engineering for Rs 12.90 a piece via block deal, according to the data available with the BSE.

As of September quarter, Sawhney held 3,679,22 shares or 1.43 per cent stake in Triveni Engineering, while Tofsl Trading & Investment Ltd (which sold the shares today) held 5,052,351 equities or 1.96 per cent ownership in the company.

Shares of the company closed at Rs 12.95 on the BSE, down 0.23 per cent from the previous close.
