NEW DELHI: Shares of Suzlon Energy traded 4.96 per cent up in Wednesday's trade at 11:06AM (IST).
Around 5,506,922 shares changed hands on the counter.

The stock opened at Rs 2.65 and touched an intraday high and low of Rs 2.75 and Rs 2.65, respectively, in the session so far. Shares of the company of Suzlon Energy Ltd. quoted a 52-week high of Rs 6.26 and a 52-week low of Rs 1.65.


Total market cap of the Suzlon Energy Ltd. stood at Rs 1462.94 crore at the time of writing this report.

Suzlon Energy got shareholders' nod for its debt restructuring plan. All 10 resolutions through postal ballot that would pave the way for debt restructuring of the company are approved with requisite majority through post ballot, according to a regulatory filing.

Key Financials
The company reported consolidated net sales of Rs 653.57 crore for the quarter ended 31-Dec-2019, down 19.21 per cent from previous quarter's Rs 809.01 crore and down 40.08 per cent from the year-ago quarter's Rs 1090.68 crore.

The net loss for latest quarter stood at Rs 736.44 crore, up 1850.32 per cent from the same quarter a year ago.

Shareholding pattern
As of 31-Mar-2020, DIIs held 0.01 per cent stake in the firm, while foreign institutional investors held 3.63 per cent and the promoters 19.79 per cent.


Valuation ratio
According to BSE data, the stock traded at a P/E multiple of -0.69 and a price-to-book ratio of -0.17. A higher P/E ratio shows investors are willing to pay a higher price because of better future growth expectations. Price-to-book value indicates the inherent value of a company and is the measure of the price that investors are ready to pay even for no growth in the business.
