NEW DELHI: Shares of Sterlite Technologies Ltd. traded 0.64 per cent down in Tuesday's trade at 10:57AM (IST). Around 69,414 shares changed hands on the counter.

The counter opened at Rs 110.65 and touched an intraday high and low of Rs 111.2 and Rs 107.5, respectively, in the session so far. The stock of Sterlite Technologies Ltd. quoted a 52-week high of Rs 197.8 and a 52-week low of Rs 59.8.

Data network solutions provider Sterlite Technologies' manufacturing capacities have revved up to near pre-coronavirus levels, PTI reported quoting Group CEO Anand Agarwal.

Key Financials
The company reported consolidated net sales of Rs 1160.06 crore for the quarter ended 31-Mar-2020, down 3.54 per cent from previous quarter's Rs 1202.66 crore and down 35.23 per cent from the year-ago quarter's Rs 1791.16 crore.

The net profit for latest quarter stood at Rs 80.33 crore, down 51.37 per cent from the same quarter a year ago.

Shareholding pattern
As of 31-Mar-2020, domestic institutional investors held 4.86 per cent stake in the company, while foreign institutional investors held 4.22 per cent and the promoters 1.8 per cent.


Valuation ratio
According to BSE data, the stock traded at a P/E multiple of 4.91 and a price-to-book ratio of 2.19. A higher P/E ratio shows investors are willing to pay a higher price because of better future growth expectations. Price-to-book value indicates the inherent value of a company and is the measure of the price that investors are ready to pay even for no growth in the business.
