The stock opened at Rs 100.7 and touched an intraday high and low of Rs 100.7 and Rs 94.3, respectively, in the session so far. The stock of Motherson Sumi Systems Ltd. quoted a 52-week high of Rs 151.0 and a 52-week low of Rs 48.5.

Auto component major Motherson Sumi Systems said it has approved a group reorganization plan with the objective of creating value for the shareholders.

The company reported consolidated net sales of Rs 14870.32 crore for the quarter ended 31-Mar-2020, down 3.67 per cent from previous quarter's Rs 15436.46 crore and down 12.12 per cent from the year-ago quarter's Rs 16921.4 crore.

The net profit for latest quarter stood at Rs 183.38 crore, down 55.27 per cent from the corresponding quarter last year.

As of 31-Mar-2020, DIIs held 11.21 per cent stake in the company, while foreign institutional investors held 15.5 per cent and the promoters 33.96 per cent.

According to BSE data, the stock traded at a price-to-earnings multiple of 26.64 and a price-to-book ratio of 2.1. A higher P/E ratio shows investors are willing to pay a higher price because of better future growth expectations.
