NEW DELHI: Shares of Dilip Buildcon Ltd. traded 0.83 per cent up in Tuesday's trade at 10:57AM (IST). Around 7,690 shares changed hands on the counter.

The stock opened at Rs 290.0 and touched an intraday high and low of Rs 290.0 and Rs 278.25, respectively, in the session so far. The stock of Dilip Buildcon Ltd. quoted a 52-week high of Rs 509.5 and a 52-week low of Rs 193.4.

The company said it has raised Rs 200 crore through an issue of non-convertible debentures (NCDs) on a private placement basis.

Key Financials
The company reported consolidated net sales of Rs 2729.66 crore for the quarter ended 31-Mar-2020, up 6.45 per cent from previous quarter's Rs 2564.39 crore and up 6.14 per cent from the year-ago quarter's Rs 2571.64 crore.

The net profit for latest quarter stood at Rs 166.8022 crore, up 90.97 per cent from the same quarter a year ago.

Shareholding pattern
As of 31-Mar-2020, domestic institutional investors held 6.25 per cent stake in the firm, while foreign institutional investors held 9.35 per cent and the promoters 75.0 per cent.


Valuation ratio
According to BSE data, the stock traded at a price-to-earnings multiple of 10.69 and a price-to-book ratio of 1.35. A higher P/E ratio shows investors are willing to pay a higher price because of better future growth expectations. Price-to-book value indicates the inherent value of a company and is the measure of the price that investors are ready to pay even for no growth in the business.
