NEW DELHI: Shares of ICICI Securities traded 5.52 per cent up in Friday 's trade at 09:42AM (IST). Around 46026 shares changed hands on the counter.

The stock opened at Rs 429.0 and touched an intraday high and low of Rs 429.0 and Rs 393.55 , respectively, in the session so far. Shares of the company quoted a 52-week high of Rs 524.75 and a 52-week low of Rs 191.0 .

Market cap of the company stood at Rs 12887.27 crore on May 08.


The broker reported a 28 per cent jump in profit after tax at Rs 156 crore for the March quarter on account of growth in revenue and changes in statutory tax rates.


Key Financials
The company reported consolidated sales of Rs 480.44 crore for the quarter ended 31-Mar-2020 , up 13.78 per cent from previous quarter's Rs 422.24 crore and up 17.73 per cent from the year-ago quarter's Rs 408.1 crore.

Bottomline for the latest quarter stood at Rs 155.88 crore, up 28.26 per cent from the same quarter a year ago .

Shareholding pattern
As of 31-Mar-2020 , DIIs held 4.86 per cent stake in the company , while foreign institutional investors held 3.16 per cent and the promoters 79.22 per cent.


Valuation ratio
According to BSE data, the stock traded at a price-to-earnings multiple of 23.78 and a price-to-book ratio of 12.31 . A higher P/E ratio shows investors are willing to pay a higher price because of better future growth expectations. Price-to-book value indicates the inherent value of a company and is the measure of the price that investors are ready to pay even for no growth in the business.
