NEW DELHI: Shares of Coal India Ltd. traded 1 per cent down in Monday 's trade at 10:29 am.

Around 2772234 shares changed hands on the counter. The stock opened at Rs 127.55 and touched an intraday high and low of Rs 131.5 and Rs 127.2 , respectively, in the session so far.

The stock quoted a 52-week high of Rs 289.2 and a 52-week low of Rs 122.7 .


The company may witness a de-growth in production in the current year as its output is expected to be lower than 607 million tonne achieved in the previous fiscal, sources said. The production is likely to be at 602-603 million tonne in 2019-20, they said.
