Trading in shares of Sri Adhikari Brothers Television Network Ltd will resume from Friday, Nov 16, the Bombay Stock Exchange said on Monday.

MUMBAI: Trading in shares of Sri Adhikari Brothers Television Network Ltd will resume from Friday, Nov 16, the Bombay Stock Exchange said on Monday.

“Trading in the equity shares of Sri Adhikari Brothers will commence on consolidated face value of Rs 10 each. Members are therefore requested to take abundant precautions while mentioning the rates for the equity shares of the company,” the BSE said.

Sri Adhikari Brothers was suspended from trading on National Stock Exchange from Oct 25 due to consolidation of equity shares from Rs 2 to Rs 10, and replaced by Educomp Solutions in the S&P CNX 500 index.

Meanwhile, the Securities and Exchange Board of India has restrained Ketan Parekh and 17 other entities from accessing the stock market for 14 years, in a fresh order. The order is the result of SEBI investigations in stocks like Himachal Futuristic, Zee Telefilms, Adani Exports, Global Tele-Systems, Ranbaxy Laboratories, Shri Adhikari Brothers Television Network, Shonkh Technologies International, Padmini Technologies and Aftek Infosys during the period between Oct 1999 and Mar 2001.

According to SEBI, investigations revealed that Parekh and the 17 other entities were involved in market manipulation in these stocks.
