Top ten intraday trading ideas for afternoon trade for Wednesday, 25 January 2017

NEW DELHI: The NSE Nifty index was trading above the psychological level of 8,500 in the afternoon trade on Wednesday on account of buying in frontline bluechip counters amid firm global cues.

Among the 51 components in Nifty index, 32 were trading in green with Zee Entertainment gaining the most 2.90 per cent, followed by HDFC (up 2.83 per cent), Kotak Mahindra Bank (up 1.63 per cent), Bosch (up 1.61 per cent) and Axis Bank (up 1.57 per cent).

On the other hand, Idea Cellular, Bharti Infratel, Tech Mahindra, Mahindra & Mahindra and Reliance Industries were trading lower by 2.11 per cent, 1.64 per cent, 0.77 per cent, 0.50 per cent and 0.44 per cent, respectively.
