Top gainers of Monday's early session

NEW DELHI: The domestic equity benchmark BSE Sensex was trading 608.80 points down at 35,064.45 on Monday on account of selling in frontline bluechip counters.

Shares of Medi-Caps (up 15.99 per cent), Landmark Propties (up 13.02 per cent), Nitesh Estates (up 11.87 per cent), Gallantt Ispat (up 10.49 per cent), Sree Sakthi Paper (up 10.26 per cent), Oriental Trimex (up 10.00 per cent), VMS Industries (up 10.00 per cent), Comfort Commotrade (up 9.92 per cent), PTL Enterprises (up 9.70 per cent) and Govind Rubber (up 9.39 per cent) were among the top performers.

Texmaco Rail & Engineering (up 7.12 per cent), Vardhman Holdings (up 7.11 per cent) and Gyscoal Alloys (up 5.22 per cent) and too were trading around 5-7 per cent higher at around the same time.


The Nifty 50 index was trading 194.60 points down at 10,499.10.

Among the 50 components in the Nifty index, 0 shares were trading in the green, while 50 were in the red.
