Top gainers of Monday's early session

NEW DELHI: The domestic equity benchmark BSE Sensex was trading 161.33 points up at 35,618.49 on Monday in early trade on account of buying in frontline bluechip counters.

Shares of Shri Jagdamba (up 19.57 per cent), Ansal Buildwell (up 19.54 per cent), Eastern Silk (up 19.11 per cent), Venus Remedies (up 18.96 per cent), Arihant Foundations (up 16.98 per cent), Bhagyanagar Properties (up 14.40 per cent), Choksi Imaging (up 12.59 per cent) and Rishi Techtex (up 12.04 per cent) were among the top performers.

Ashok Alco-Chem (up 10.32 per cent) and Chemcrux Enterprises (up 9.95 per cent) too were trading around 10 per cent higher at around the same time.


The Nifty 50 index was 33.85 points up at 10,716.05. Among the 50 components in the Nifty index, 31 shares were trading in the green, while 19 were in the red.
