Top gainers and losers on Nifty 50

Shares of Idea Cellular (up 4.47 per cent), Bharti Airtel (up 3.64 per cent), Aurobindo Pharma (up 2.78 per cent), Infosys (up 2.42 per cent), Dr Reddy's Labs (up 2.29 per cent), NTPC (up 2.08 per cent), Axis Bank (up 1.98 per cent), BPCL (up 1.79 per cent), HCL Tech (up 1.70 per cent), Tech Mahindra (up 1.68 per cent) were among top gainers in the Nifty 50 index around 1 pm (IST).

On the other hand, M&M (down 3.25 per cent), Hindalco Industries (down 3.04 per cent), IndusInd Bank (down 2.63 per cent), Bosch (down 2.44 per cent), Tata Motors (down 2.28 per cent), ACC (down 1.98 per cent), Tata Motors (down 1.73 per cent), Tata Steel (down 1.55 per cent), YES Bank (down 1.49 per cent), Hero MotoCorp (down 1.42 per cent) were among the top losers in the Nifty index.

Benchmark Nifty50 index was trading 1.75 points down at 8,714.65 around the same time, while the 30-share Sensex was trading 19.27 points up at 28,160.91 on February 02 .

In the Nifty50 pack, 21 stocks were trading in green, while 29 stocks were trading below the neutral line in the afternoon trade on Thursday.
