Top eight intraday trading ideas for afternoon trade for Thursday, 23 February 2017

NEW DELHI: The NSE Nifty index was trading above 8,950-mark in the noon trade on Thursday on account of buying in selected heavyweight stocks amid mixed global cues.

Among the 51 components in Nifty index, 32 were trading in green with Idea Cellular gaining the most 6.66 per cent, followed by Bharti Airtel (up 4.71 per cent), TCS (up 2.13 per cent), Infosys (up 2 per cent) and HCL Technologies (up 1.46 per cent).

On the other hand, Grasim, Axis Bank, Reliance Industries, Eicher Motors and NTPC were trading lower by 1.56 per cent, 1.01 per cent, 1 per cent, 0.88 per cent and 0.75 per cent, respectively.
