These stocks zoomed up to 20% on Thursday

NEW DELHI: Shares of Balkrishna Paper Mills, Fineotex Chemical, Wendt (India), PBA Infrastructure, Flexituff International, Jaypee Infratech, STL Global, Syncom Healthcare and Gammon Infrastructure Projects zoomed up to 20 per cent on NSE on Thursday, defying the cautious market sentiment.

Domestic equity market benchmarks Nifty50 and Sensex closed Thursday's session in the lower territory, in light of futures and options (F&O) expiry for December.

The Nifty50 index closed 13 points down at 10,477, while the BSE Sensex ended Thursday's session 64 points down at 33,848.


Shares of Hindalco Industries, UPL, Vedanta, Dr. Reddy's Laboratories, Tata Steel, Indiabulls Housing Finance and GAIL (India) emerged as the top gainers among the Nifty50 stocks on Thursday.

On the contrary, Indian Oil Corporation, State Bank of India, Bharat Petroleum Corporation, Bajaj Auto and Hero MotoCorp remained the top losers.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty50 index, 18 remained in the green, while 32 settled in the red.
