These stocks surged up to 20% on NSE on Wednesday

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 15 closed the day in the green.
NEW DELHI: Shares of Nakoda (up 20 per cent), Samtel Color (up 20 per cent), ECE Industries (up 19.99 per cent), Zodiac JRD MKJ (up 19.93 per cent) and Sathavahana Ispat (up 19.81 per cent) surged up to 20 per cent on NSE on Wednesday.

On the other hand, PC Jeweller (down 23.15 per cent) saw a steep fall in its share prices on Wednesday, extending the losses to the eighth trading session.

Domestic equity benchmarks closed on a flat note on Wednesday ahead of US Fed policy meet outcome.

The 50-share Nifty pack closed the day 21 points, or 0.20 per cent, down at 10,718, while the BSE Sensex clocked nominal gains of 16 points, or 0.05 per cent, ending at 35,176.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 15 closed the day in the green, while 35 in the red.

As many as 137 stocks including GTL Infrastructure, HDIL, PC Jeweller, Vakrangee and Videocon Industries hit fresh 52-week lows on NSE on Wednesday.
