NEW DELHI: Domestic equity indices, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, were trading marginally in red in the afternoon trade on Monday following weak global cues. However, these stocks bucked muted trend and surged over 10 per cent.

Shares of National Fert (up 11.42 per cent), Nakoda Ltd (12.50 per cent), SKIL Infra (12.89 per cent), FCS Software (20 per cent), Visesh Infotec (25 per cent), Rasoya Proteins (33.33 per cent) rallied over 10 per cent during the day till 12.40 pm (IST).

The 30-share Sensex was trading 33.64 points down at 27848.82 around the same time while the 50-share Nifty index was down 12.0 points down at 8629.25 .

In the Nifty 50 index, 17 stocks were trading in green, while 32 stocks were in red.

Stocks such as National Fert, Jindal Stainles, LT Foods, Delta Magnets, Manaksia Industries Ltd., North Eastern, Bharat Wire Ropes Ltd., Sterlite Tech, BEL, Technocraft Ind hit their fresh 52-week high in today's trade.

However, Raj Rayon, ENIL, Vinati Organics, SE Power, Birla Cotsyn, Kamat Hotels, Lakshmi Finance, Sicagen India, JMC Projects, Oricon Enterpr touched their new 52-week low in trade.
