These stocks rallied over 15% intraday on Monday

NEW DELHI: Domestic equity indices, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, were trading in red in the afternoon trade on Monday on account of selling in frontline bluechip counters.

Shares of Venkys (India) ( up 15.32 per cent), India Tourism ( 15.88 per cent), Renaissance Jew ( 16.45 per cent), Uttam Value Steel ( 16.67 per cent), SKM Egg Prod ( 16.74 per cent), Asian Hotels (E) ( 18.28 per cent), Shreyas Ship ( 19.99 per cent), Revathi Equip ( 20.00 per cent), Rasoya Proteins ( 25.00 per cent) were trading over 15 per cent up in the afternoon trade.

The 30-share BSE Sensex was trading 99.08 points down at 28,235.17 on Monday, while the 50-share Nifty index settled -30.25 points down at 8,763.3.

In the Nifty 50 index, 19 stocks were trading in green, while 32 stocks were trading in red.

Stocks such as Rasoya Proteins, Asian Hotels (E), Renaissance Jew, India Tourism, Venkys (India), Hindustan Motor, Peacock Ind, National Fert, Panama Petro, Max Ventures and Industries Ltd. hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade.

However, Tera Software, JMT Auto, Gangotri Text, TD Power Sys, DB International, BSE Ltd., Shekhawati Poly, Birla Cotsyn, Raj Rayon, Rasoya Proteins touched their new 52-week low in trade.
