Multi-baggers of 2017, including HEG Ltd and Graphite India, extended their losses on Wednesday after reports that a new graphite electrodes mill was commissioned in Shanxi in China.

Graphite India dipped to a low of Rs 802 today, from Rs 850.95 on January 12, indicating a fall of 6 per cent during the period.

On the other hand, HEG slipped for the second straight session to Rs 2,777.35 on January 17 from Rs 3,077.72 on January 15. The stock hit lower circuit of 5 per cent for the second straight session on Wednesday.


HEG scaled its fresh all-time high of Rs 3,146.95 on January 16 this year and 52-week low of Rs 175 on February 1 last year. It shot up as much as 1,454.90 per cent in 2017 whereas the benchmark BSE Sensex advanced 28 per cent during the year.

Graphite India hit a new life high of Rs 908 on January 4, 2018 and 52-week low of Rs 91.75 on January 17, 2017. The scrip went up 872.70 per cent during the previous year.
