Commercial realty has been booming in India where foreign and domestic investors pump more money and capital values and rental value remain strong. Sovereign wealth and pension funds, have continued to show a healthy appetite for income-producing and development commercial assets. While the residential property market has remained stagnant, improving optimism in the Indian economy has added to the commercial space where leasing touched 47.2 million sq ft in 2018 as against 38.2 million sq ft in 2010.
