Singapore state investment firm Temasek on Wednesday picked up 1.14% stake in online food delivery aggregator Zomato for ₹607.6 crore, according to exchange deal data. Temasek bought 9.8 crore shares through its investment vehicle Camas Investments at ₹62 apiece in a bulk deal that saw China's Alibaba Group offload as many as 26.28 crore shares, or 3.07% stake, exchange data showed. Details of other buyers were not publicly available.

Post the deal, Temasek's stake in Zomato will increase to 4%. The Singapore-based global investment company owned 2.86% in Zomato via another investment arm Macritchie Investments at the end of September 2022, data showed. Alibaba group, invested through two of its investment arms, will hold 9.91% stake in the company post the block deal.
