Tejas Networks, Jindal Hotels among top losers on BSE

NEW DELHI: The domestic equity benchmark BSE Sensex was trading 43.97 points down at 36,064.50 on account of selling in frontline bluechip counters.

Shares of Thirumalai Chemicals (down 19.97 per cent), Athena Constructions (down 19.68 per cent), National Plastic (down 19.16 per cent), Jindal Hotels (down 16.73 per cent), Tejas Networks (down 11.62 per cent), Tainwala Chemicals (down 9.27 per cent), IG Petrochemicals (down 8.10 per cent), Tejnaksh Healthcare (down 7.47 per cent) and Bodhtree Consulting (down 6.76 per cent) were among the worst performers.

Dhunseri Investments (down 5.88 per cent) and Sintex Plastics Technology (down 5.31 per cent) too declined around 5-6 per cent at around the same time.


In the Nifty pack, 28 stocks were trading in the green, while 22 stocks were in the red.

The Nifty index was trading 14 points down at 10,817.50.
