Tech Mahindra MD makes Rs 11.20 cr by selling 1.45 lakh shares

IT firm Tech Mahindra Managing Director Vineet Nayar has made Rs 11.20 crore by offloading his shares in the company.

MUMBAI: IT firm Tech Mahindra Managing Director Vineet Nayar has made Rs 11.20 crore by offloading his shares in the company.

Vineet Nayar has sold 1.45 lakh shares of Tech Mahindra in three tranches at different prices, the company's disclosure with the Bombay Stock Exchange shows.

However, the information technology firm, which has recently acquired the crisis-hit Satyam Computer, did not disclose the mode of transactions.

According to the BSE disclosure, Nayar sold 45,000 shares on June 17 at Rs 783.92 a piece, resulting in an aggregate of over Rs 3.52 crore.

Further, on June 18, he sold 80,000 shares at Rs 759.8 per piece, aggregating over Rs 6.07 crore.

Besides, Nayar made Rs 1.59 crore on June 19 by selling 20,000 shares at Rs 797 a piece.

Shares of Tech Mahindra today closed at Rs 740.15, down 2.69 per cent, on the BSE.
