Tata Motors slips 3% after JLR chief Thierry Bolloré resigns

“We wish to inform you that Thierry Bolloré, Non-Executive Non-Independent Director of Tata Motors has tendered his resignation w.e.f. December 31, 2022,” Tata Motors said in a BSE filing.

Shares of Tata Motors dropped nearly 3% to Rs 419.7 intra-day on Thursday on BSE a day after Thierry Bolloré, the CEO of Jaguar Land Rover (JLR), tendered his resignation due to personal reasons.

“We wish to inform you that Thierry Bolloré, Non-Executive Non-Independent Director of Tata Motors has tendered his resignation w.e.f. December 31, 2022,” Tata Motors said in a BSE filing.

Adrian Mardell, who has been part of JLR for 32 years and a member of the executive board for three years, will be taking over as interim CEO from November 16.


In the early trade on Thursday, shares of Tata Motors fell 1.99% to Rs 422.8 on BSE against the previous close of Rs 431.55.
