Suzlon up nearly 5% on DLF order

Shares of Suzlon Energy rose nearly five per cent Thursday on news that it bagged an order from realty major DLF to set up a wind farm in Gujarat.

MUMBAI: Shares of Suzlon Energy rose nearly five per cent Thursday on news that it bagged an order from realty major DLF to set up a wind farm in Gujarat.

The farm of 150 MW wind turbine capacity is expected to be completed by March 2008. The order comprises 100 units of Suzlon's S82-1.5 MW turbines.

At 11:19 am, the Suzlon share was up 4.93 per cent at Rs 1,631.20 with volume traded at 2,26,687 against two-week average of 1,68,071 shares.
