NEW DELHI: Shares of wind turbine supplier Suzlon Energy rose nearly 2 per cent in morning trade on Wednesday after it won a 132 MW repeat turnkey order from ReNew Power Ventures. Suzlon Energy has received order for 48 units of S97120M Hybrid Tower and 15 units of S97 90m tubular tower with a rated capacity of 2.1 MW each.

The project, which is scheduled to be completed by March 2017, will be located at two sites -- Elutalla and Veerbhadra in the Ananthapur district of Andhra Pradesh, ReNew Power Ventures said in an announcement to the Bombay Stock Exchange ( BSE) website.

The project will provide power to over 70,000 households and reducing 0.28 millions of C02 emissions annually, it further said.

At 10:52 am, shares of the Pune-based company were trading at Rs 16.75 apiece, up by 1.82 per cent from its previous close on BSE.
