The renewable energy player’s EBITDA fell to Rs 595 crore in Q1 FY27, from Rs 599 crore in the same period last year, while EBITDA margin declined to 15.6% from 19.2%. While net profit, EBITDA and margins declined, its revenue from operations rose 22.5% YoY to Rs 3,819 crore in Q1 FY27 from Rs 3,117 crore in the year-ago period.
The company reported its highest-ever Q1 deliveries at 506 megawatts, marking a 14% YoY increase, while commissioning surged 2.3x to 269 MW. Its cumulative order book stood at 6.1 GW, with 84% of the orders coming from PSU and C&I sectors.
EBITDA and PAT margins drop came amid the ongoing developments, given the temporary logistic disruptions arising from the geopolitical situation, certain strategic investments, and change of scope and segment mix, said Suzlon Group’s CFO Rahul Jain.
Along with the Q1 results, Suzlon Energy said that its board of directors during its meeting held today have considered and approved setting up of a wholly owned subsidiary in Singapore for the purposes of augmenting the international wind energy and OMS business.
