Suzlon Energy, DHFL, Jet Airways, RNaval among top gainers on BSE

NEW DELHI: The domestic equity benchmark BSE Sensex was trading 216.19 points down at 39,385.44 on account of selling in frontline bluechip counters.

Shares of Hotel Leela (up 19.97 per cent), Jindal Photo (up 19.94 per cent), Jet Airways (up 13.91 per cent), Kothari Fermentation (up 13.30 per cent), Super Spinning (up 12.91 per cent), TBZ (up 11.69 per cent), Parenteral Drug (up 11.63 per cent), Daikaffil Chemicals (up 11.60 per cent), Surana Telecom (up 11.11 per cent) , Urja Global (up 11.06 per cent), Wallfort Financial Services (up 10.93 per cent), Madhav Marbles (up 10.09 per cent), Evans Electric (up 10 per cent), Agarwal Corp (up 9.99 per cent), Lakshmi Vilas Bank (up 9.96 per cent), Shree Surgovind (up 9.92 per cent), Resonance Spec (up 9.91 per cent), Kwality (up 9.74 per cent) and Rasandik Engineering (up 9.31 per cent) were among the top performers.

Suzlon Energy (up 8.78 per cent), Reliance Naval (up 8.50 per cent) and DHFL (up 6.20 per cent) too were trading around 6-9 per cent higher at around the same time.


The Nifty 50 index was trading 54.55 points down at 11,777.20.

Among the 50 components in the Nifty index, 18 shares were trading in the green, while 32 were in the red.
