Suven Life Sciences secures 5 patents; stock rallies
Suven Life Sciences surged as much as 6.97% after the co secured five product patents in Israel, Japan, China and New Zealand for NCEs.

"The granted claims of the patents include the class of selective 5-HT compounds discovered by Suven and are being developed as therapeutic agents and are useful in the treatment of cognitive impairment associated with neurodegenerative disorders like Alzheimer’s disease, Attention deficient hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), Huntington’s disease, Parkinson and Schizophrenia," the company said in a filing to stock exchanges.
The company has been granted two product patents from Israel, one product patent from Japan, one product patent from China and one from New Zealand.
With these new patents, Suven has a total of two granted patents from Israel, eleven granted patents from Japan, fifteen product patents from China and twenty one product patents from New Zealand.
