MUMBAI: Shares of Sun Pharmaceuticals were up on Monday after the company got US FDA approval to market benzonatate capsules, the generic version Tessalon.
Benzonatate had annual sales of about $40 million in the United States.
At 10:58 am, the stock was at Rs 1285, up 1.95 per cent on the BSE. It touched a high of Rs 1315 and low of Rs 1250. Volumes were at 10,640 against two-week average of 1,18,596 shares.
