Sun Pharma surges as company mulls share buyback

NEW DELHI: Shares of Sun Pharma ended 1.59 per cent higher on Thursday after reports that the firm is considering buyback of shares.

The board of directors of Sun Pharma will meet later on Thursday to mull a share buyback plan, reports suggested.

Reacting to the development, the scrip gained 2.36 per cent to hit a high of Rs 757.10. The stock is down 7 per cent so far this year.
