Sugar manufacturers gain on hopes of easing curbs
Bajaj Hindusthan Ltd gained 1.8 per cent, Shree Renuka Sugars Ltd was up 2.7 per cent, while Balrampur Chini Mills Ltd rose 1.3 per cent.

The move will also dismantle the release mechanism under which the government decides the amount a sugar mill needs to sell in the open market.
In the anticipation of an open market, stocks of sugar companies are gaining on the stock exchange.
India's largest sugar producer Bajaj Hindusthan Ltd gained 1.8%. Shree Renuka Sugars Ltd was up 2.7%, while Kolkata based Balrampur Chini Mills Ltd rose 1.3 per cent during noon at BSE.
