Subex Azure has informed the exchanges of its name change to Subex Ltd with effect from December 1.

MUMBAI: Subex Azure has informed the exchanges of its name change to Subex Ltd with effect from December 1.
"We adopted the name Subex Azure primarily to highlight the acquisition and subsequent integration of UK firm Azure in June 2006. This was in line with our strategy to leverage the recall and positioning of Azure in the market. The company has now fully benefited from that strategy and since then proceeded to acquire Canadian firm Syndesis. Now it’s time to reposition Subex, the mother brand, as the primary brand," said Subash Menon, chairman, managing director & CEO, of the company.
Subex Ltd is a leading provider of operations support systems solutions for telecom operators.
At 11:51 am, Subex Azure shares were up 2.06 per cent at Rs 297.30 on BSE.
