Stocks to buy or sell today: 6 short-term trading ideas by experts for 12 October 2022

The Indian market opened higher on Wednesday, aided by gains in IT and power stocks. S&P BSE Sensex was up over 150 points in early trade while Nifty 50 was above the 17,000 level.

Sectorally, buying was seen in IT, realty, auto, banking, financial and FMCG stocks while selling was visible in media stocks.

Asian stocks opened lower on Wednesday after a mixed close on Wall Street following the IMF's downcast economic outlook, with investors remaining cautious about the impact of inflation.
