Stocks that surged over 10% intraday on Tuesday

NEW DELHI: Benchmark equity indices, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, were trading in red on Tuesday on account of selling in frontline bluechip counters. During the day, Sanwaria Agro ( 10.34 per cent), Castex Tech. ( 10.37 per cent), IG Petrochem ( 11.00 per cent), Amtek Auto ( 11.91 per cent), Metkore Alloys ( 12.00 per cent) rallied over 10 per cent.

The 30-share Sensex was trading 53.51 points down at 28385.77 in the afternoon trade around 1.15 pm (IST) on Tuesday, while the 50-share Nifty index was trading 14.35 points down at 8786.7.

In the Nifty 50 index, 19 stocks were trading in green, while 32 stocks were trading in red.

Stocks such as Karma Energy, Goldstone Infra, Pan India Corp, Metkore Alloys, Crest Ventures hit their fresh 52-week high in today's trade. However, Birla Cotsyn, BS Ltd, BSE Ltd., JMT Auto, DB International touched their new 52-week low in trade.
