Stocks that hit fresh 52-week highs and lows in Friday's trade

NEW DELHI: Equity benchmark NSE Nifty index was trading 43.40 points up at 8821.40 in the afternoon trade on Friday on account of buying in frontline bluechip counters.

Shares of HDFC Bank, Banaras Beads, IFB Industries, IFB Agro, Atlanta Ltd, Pitti Lamination, Garware Wall, Genesys International, Cadila Health, NBI Industrial Finance Company Ltd., Times Guaranty hit their fresh 52-week high on NSE.

However, stocks such as Birla Cotsyn, National Build, JMT Auto, Nitesh Estates, DB International, Pennar Engineered Building Systems Ltd., KSS Ltd, Rasoya Proteins, Raj Rayon touched their fresh 52-week low.

Overall, 30 shares werer trading in green in the Nifty 50 index, while 21 were trading in red.

In the Nifty 50 index, HDFC Bank, Sun Pharma, Cipla, BPCL, Tata Power, Grasim Inds., Tata Motors, Tata Motors, Lupin, IndusInd Bank were among top gainers, while Bharti Infratel, Idea Cellular, Eicher Motors, TCS, Coal India Ltd, Infosys, Axis Bank, Hero MotoCorp, Bharti Airtel, Asian Paints were trading in red around 1.40 pm (IST).

The BSE Sensex was up 160.65 points at 28461.92.
