Stocks that hit fresh 52-week highs and lows in Friday's trade

NEW DELHI: The key benchmark NSE Nifty index was trading 26.80 points up at 8,805.20 in the afternoon trade on Friday on account of buying in frontline bluechip counters amid firm Asian cues.

Shares of Arcotech Ltd, Bang Overseas, Manaksia Aluminium Company Ltd., Manaksia Steels Ltd., Sanwaria Agro, Sical Logistics, Harrisons Mala, Peria Karamalai, Crest Ventures, Paramount Comm hit their fresh 52-week highs on NSE.

However, stocks such as Nitesh Estates, JMT Auto, Pricol Ltd., Birla Cotsyn, Rasoya Proteins, Raj Rayon, DB International, Gayatri Project, Gallantt Ispat, Shekhawati Poly touched their fresh 52-week lows in today’s trade.

Overall, 29 shares were trading in green in Nifty50 index, while 22 were in red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Grasim Industries, TCS, Bank of Baroda, Tech Mahindra, Infosys, Tata Steel, Adani Ports SEZ, SBI, IndusInd Bank, HCL Tech were among top gainers, while Aurobindo Pharma, ITC, Tata Motors, Lupin, Cipla, Zee Ent., Dr Reddys Labs, Bharti Infratel, GAIL, Bosch were among major losers in the index.

The BSE Sensex was trading 51.27 points up at 28380.97 around 2.40 pm (IST).

Traders were seen piling up position in petrochemicals, information technology, gems and jewellery, beverages, food processing and fertilisers sectors, while selling were visible in aquaculture, packaging, iron and steel, glass, rubber, engineering, textiles and auto sectors.
