Stocks of sanitary ware companies cut gains despite FM's announcement
NEW DELHI: Stocks of sanitary ware companies pared some of their initial gains after rising as much as 8 per cent today.

Profit booking was seen after the finance minister Arun Jaitley, much in line with prime minister Narendra Modi's pet 'Swacch Bharat' vision, announced construction of six crore toilets.

Cera Sanitaryware was trading 3 per cent higher. The scrip jumped 5.28 per cent to hit its intraday high of Rs 2,699 earlier in the session.

HSIL was up around 3 per cent. The scrip climbed 7.72 per cent to hit its intrday high of Rs 445.60



Sintex slipped into red. The stock rose over 1.5 per cent in early trades.
