Vedanta, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Marico, Axis Bank, Trent, Zydus Lifesciences and other stocks are likely to remain in focus on Tuesday following key corporate developments and business updates.
Technically, the Nifty tested its broken weekly 200-SMA zone at 22,580-22,600 but closed below the band. A sustained move above this zone could extend the recovery towards 22,800, while rejection could keep 22,400 as the immediate support, according to Hariselvan Radhakrishnan, Founder & CEO of HST Wealth.
Against this backdrop, Vedanta, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Marico, Axis Bank, Trent, Zydus Lifesciences and other stocks are likely to remain in focus on Tuesday following key corporate developments and business updates.
Vedanta
Anil Agarwal-led metals and mining major Vedanta Ltd is set to consider its first interim dividend for the financial year 2026-27. The company's Board of Directors is scheduled to meet on Thursday, October 8, 2026, to consider and approve the first interim dividend on equity shares, if any, for FY27. Vedanta has fixed Wednesday, October 14, 2026, as the record date for determining the entitlement of equity shareholders to the proposed dividend, if declared.Trent
Tata Group's retail arm Trent reported a 23% year-on-year increase in standalone revenue from operations, excluding GST, to Rs 5,788 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2026, compared with Rs 4,724 crore in the year-ago period, according to its exchange filing. For the first half of FY27, revenue rose 21% year-on-year to Rs 11,454 crore from Rs 9,505 crore in the corresponding period a year earlier.Marico
Marico has increased its stake in Satiya Nutraceuticals Private Ltd, which owns the ‘The Plant Fix – Plix’ brand, to 84.09% on a fully diluted basis after acquiring an additional 24.09% stake from its founders and certain other shareholders.In an exchange filing, Marico said it had entered into definitive agreements to acquire a 38.18% stake in Satiya Nutraceuticals on a fully diluted basis, in tranches, from its founders and certain other shareholders, in line with the terms and conditions agreed under the definitive agreements.
Axis Bank
Axis Bank reported a 22.7% year-on-year increase in gross advances to Rs 13.846 lakh crore as of September 30, 2026, compared with Rs 11.284 lakh crore a year earlier, according to the lender's exchange filing. Gross advances increased 8.8% from Rs 12.729 lakh crore at the end of June 2026.The bank's total deposits rose 20.7% year-on-year to Rs 14.521 lakh crore as of September 30, 2026, from Rs 12.035 lakh crore a year earlier. Deposits increased 5.8% from Rs 13.729 lakh crore at the end of June 2026.

Healthcare company Narayana Hrudayalaya said it has entered into an agreement with Mission of Mercy Hospital and Research Centre and The Assemblies of God of North India to operate and manage the Mission of Mercy Hospital & Research Centre at Park Street, Kolkata, on a long-term exclusive basis. Kotak Mahindra Bank reported a 24.7% year-on-year increase in net advances to Rs 5,77,094 crore as of September 30, 2026, compared with Rs 4,62,688 crore a year earlier. Net advances increased 12.7% from Rs 5,12,249 crore at the end of June 2026, according to the lender's exchange filing.Average net advances stood at Rs 5,46,963 crore, up 22.1% year-on-year and 10.5% sequentially.
