A sustained close above 24,200 would be needed to improve the near-term structure, said Ponmudi R, CEO of Enrich Money.
The Nifty 50 closed at 23,897.70 on Friday, rising 0.10% after four consecutive sessions of losses. Despite the late-week recovery, the index declined around 1.2% during the week and remained below key moving averages, keeping the broader technical setup weak.

Against this backdrop, shares of Tata Motors, Rail Vikas Nigam (RVNL), Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders, Eicher Motors, Lupin and several other companies are likely to remain in focus on Monday following key corporate developments.
