Shares of Tata Group companies, Wipro, Bharat Electronics, Hindustan Aeronautics, Petronet LNG, Bharat Forge and several other companies are likely to remain in focus following key corporate developments.
The NSE Nifty 50 settled at 23,270.60, up 53 points, or 0.23%, while the BSE Sensex declined 21.86 points, or 0.03%, to 74,314.59.
On the technical front, the Nifty continued its recovery after finding support near the previous swing low on the daily chart. The Relative Strength Index (RSI) is also showing signs of moving out of the oversold zone, indicating an improvement in momentum.
According to Rupak De, Senior Technical Analyst at LKP Securities, resistance for the index is placed at 23,300. A sustained move above this level could open the way towards 23,500. On the downside, support is seen at 23,200, and a break below this level could weaken the near-term trend.
Against this backdrop, shares of Tata Group companies, Wipro, Bharat Electronics, Hindustan Aeronautics, Petronet LNG, Bharat Forge and several other companies are likely to remain in focus following key corporate developments.
Tata Group Stocks
Tata Group stocks are likely to remain in focus after the reappointment of Tata Sons Chairman N Chandrasekaran for another five-year term triggered a fresh governance dispute.Tata Trusts Chairman Noel Tata has reportedly told the Tata Sons board that the resolution is legally void and that the Trusts' nominee directors must approve the appointment of the chairman.

GPT Infraprojects
GPT Infraprojects has received a work order from Rail Vikas Nigam (RVNL) for the construction of Important Bridge 544, involving a 32x65.84-metre open-web steel girder bridge over the Mahanadi river.The project forms part of the construction of the third and fourth railway lines between the Nergundi-Barang section in the Khurda Road Division of East Coast Railway.
The contract is valued at Rs 483.72 crore, including GST, and Rs 409.94 crore excluding GST.

PB Fintech

Petronet LNG's board has approved a proposal to incorporate a 50:50 joint venture with Gruner Renewable Energy Pvt Ltd.The proposed joint venture will establish 10 compressed biogas (CBG) plants, each with a capacity of 18 MT per day, across the country.
The estimated capital outlay for the project is Rs 1,200 crore.

Bharat Forge has launched a Qualified Institutional Placement (QIP) with a floor price of Rs 1,947.70 per equity share.The company's Investment Committee approved the preliminary placement document and authorised the opening of the issue on September 17.
Hindustan Construction Company
Hindustan Construction Company (HCC) said its wholly owned subsidiary, HCC Infrastructure Company Ltd (HICL), has approved a proposal to incorporate a public limited company jointly with Ceigall India Ltd.
