Unlocking value for 36 lakh shareholders of the diversified Kolkata-based conglomerate, the much-awaited demerger of ITC Hotels comes into effect from today, January 1. The company has set the record date for ITC shareholders on January 6. Under the demerger scheme, ITC shareholders whose names will appear in the list of shareholders on January 6 will get one share of ITC Hotels for every 10 units of the parent company.
Orient Cement
Orient Cement has informed stock exchanges about receiving a GST demand notice of Rs 6.45 crore from Additional Commissioner, Central Tax in Belagavi, Karnataka together with interest and equivalent penalty. It is accused of wrongful availment of Input Tax Credit taken with respect to railway siding set-up. The company said that it will contest the order.
Shares of Surya Roshni will ex-bonus on Wednesday. It is also the record date for 1:1 bonus share issue of the company.
Newgen Software Technologies
Newgen Software Technologies on Tuesday informed exchanges about accepting the Award Letter from the customer for the Provision of Credit Automation services. The aggregate value of the award is $1.64 million.
