The government on Monday announced an offer for sale (OFS) in state-run NLC India, seeking to divest up to 3% of its stake through a two-day share sale process. The OFS comprises a base offer of 2% equity, equivalent to 2.78 crore shares, along with a greenshoe option of another 1% stake, or 1.39 crore shares, in case of strong investor demand.

Two promoter-group charitable entities of Motilal Oswal Financial Services Limited sold shares worth about Rs 153 crore through block deals on Monday, with HDFC Life Insurance Company Limited emerging as the buyer. According to NSE block deal data, Motilal Oswal Foundation and Motilal Oswal Healthcare Foundation together sold 18.2 lakh shares of Motilal Oswal Financial Services at Rs 842.5 per share.
