Stock market update: Realty stocks advance; Sobha climbs over 3%

NEW DELHI: Realty stocks were trading on a positive note at 12:33PM (IST) on Friday.

Shares of Sobha (up 3.29 per cent), Prestige Estates Projects (up 2.84 per cent), Brigade Enterprises (up 2.37 per cent), Sunteck Realty (up 2.14 per cent) and Phoenix Mills (up 1.03 per cent) were among the top gainers.

While Indiabulls Real Estate (down 1.99 per cent), Oberoi Realty (down 1.71 per cent) and Omaxe (down 0.38 per cent) were the top losers in the index.


The Nifty Realty index was trading 0.63 per cent up at 224.8 around 12:33PM.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 105.00 points at 11565.8, while the BSE Sensex was down 391.35 points at 39358.5.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 14 were trading in the green, while 36 were in the red.

Shares of Vodafone Idea, Tata Motors, Indian Oil Corp, YES Bank and SBI were among the most traded shares on the NSE.

Shares of Blue Dart Exp, Vaibhav Global, Adani Green Energy Ltd., Route Mobile Ltd. and Ambuja Cements hit their fresh 52 week high in today's trade, while Mittal Life Style Ltd., Shubhlaxmi Jewel Art Ltd., Vikas Proppant & Granite Ltd., GE Power India Ltd., Sumit Woods Ltd., Jump Networks Ltd., SKIL Infrastructure Ltd., Madhya Pradesh Today Media Ltd., SS Infrastructure Development Consultants Ltd. and Shrenik Ltd. hit fresh 52 week low in trade.
