Stock market update: Realty shares rise; DLF gains over 2%

NEW DELHI: Realty shares were trading in the positive zone in Wednesday's morning session.

Shares of Indiabulls Real Estate (up 2.07 per cent), DLF (up 2.0 per cent), Brigade Enterprises (up 1.24 per cent), Phoenix Mills (up 1.15 per cent), Prestige Estates Projects (up 0.52 per cent), Oberoi Realty (up 0.47 per cent), Godrej Properties (up 0.18 per cent) and SOBHA (up 0.1 per cent) were among the top gainers.

The Nifty Realty index was trading 0.79 per cent up at 305.25 around 10:06 am.


Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 78.40 points at 12070.9 , while the BSE Sensex was up 259.87 points at 41154.25 .

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 37 were trading in the green, while 12 were in the red.

Shares of Vodafone Idea, YES Bank, Tata Motors, Aurobindo Pharma, SBI, SAIL, Coal India Ltd, Bharti Infratel and Hathway Cable were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
