Stock market update: Realty shares mixed; Sobha slumps nearly 5%

NEW DELHI: Realty shares were trading on a mixed note in Friday's morning session.

Shares of DLF (up 1.75 per cent), Mahindra Lifespace Developers (up 0.71 per cent), Indiabulls Real Estate (up 0.61 per cent) and Oberoi Realty (up 0.52 per cent) were trading with gains.

Sobha (down 4.86 per cent), Godrej Properties (down 1.70 per cent), Brigade Enterprises (down 1.66 per cent) and Prestige Estates Projects (down 1.60 per cent) were trading lower.


The Nifty Realty index was trading 0.05 per cent down at 283.30 around 10:26 am.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 1.85 points at 11,839.70 while the BSE Sensex was down 10.88 points at 39,575.53.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 24 were trading in the green, while 25 were in the red.

Shares of PFC, YES Bank, PNB, Bank of Baroda, Union Bank India, SAIL, Dish TV India, Ashok Leyland, Bank of India and Vodafone Idea were among the most traded securities on the NSE.
