Stock market update: Realty shares mixed; Indiabulls Real Estate jumps 5%

NEW DELHI: Realty shares were trading on a mixed note in Wednesday's morning session.

Shares of Indiabulls Real Estate (up 5 per cent), Sobha (up 4.24 per cent), Brigade Enterprises (up 2.71 per cent) and Prestige Estates Projects (up 1.71 per cent) were trading with gains.

Oberoi Realty (down 2.86 per cent), DLF (down 2.08 per cent), Godrej Properties (down 1.26 per cent) and Sunteck Realty (down 0.38 per cent) were trading lower.


The Nifty Realty index was trading 0.57 per cent down at 243.85 around 10:16 am.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 28 points at 11,098.40 while the BSE Sensex was down 98.52 points at 37,433.46.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 19 were trading in the green, while 31 were in the red.

Shares of YES Bank, Vodafone Idea, Tata Motors, ZEEL, SBI, Aurobindo Pharma, Ashok Leyland, NALCO and JSPL were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
