Stock market update: Realty shares mixed; Godrej Properties up 2%

NEW DELHI: Realty shares were trading on a mixed note in Thursday's morning session.

Shares of Godrej Properties (up 2.1 per cent), Indiabulls Real Estate (up 1.37 per cent), Oberoi Realty (up 1.25 per cent), Sunteck Realty (up 1.06 per cent) and Prestige Estates Projects (up 1.03 per cent) were among the top gainers.

While SOBHA (down​ 1.04 per cent)​, Phoenix Mills (down​ 0.88 per cent)​, Brigade Enterprises (down​ 0.7 per cent)​, DLF (down​ 0.31 per cent)​ and Mahindra Lifespace Developers (down​ 0.1 per cent)​ were the top losers in the index.


The Nifty Realty index was trading 0.59 per cent up at 308 around 10:08 am.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 21.15 points at 12104.75, while the BSE Sensex was down 75.98 points at 41247.02.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 27 were trading in the green, while 23 were in the red.

Shares of Vodafone Idea, YES Bank, Tata Motors, Max Financial Servi, SBI, Tata Power, Ashok Leyland, Aurobindo Pharma and SAIL were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
