Stock market update: Realty shares down; Oberoi Realty dips 1%

NEW DELHI: Realty shares were trading in the negative zone in Wednesday's morning session.

Shares of Oberoi Realty (down 1 per cent) , Prestige Estates Projects (down 0.62 per cent) , Brigade Enterprises (down 0.55 per cent) , Sunteck Realty (down 0.52 per cent) , DLF (down 0.43 per cent) , Godrej Properties (down 0.31 per cent) and SOBHA (down 0.12 per cent) were the top losers in the index.

The Nifty Realty index was trading 0.02 per cent up at 298.6 around 10:17 am.


Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 22.60 points at 12191.05 , while the BSE Sensex was up 79.29 points at 41333.03 .

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 33 were trading in the green, while 16 were in the red.

Shares of YES Bank, Vodafone Idea, Tata Motors, SAIL, JSPL, SBI, Bank of Baroda, Zee Ent. and BHEL were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
