Stock market update: Realty shares down; DLF dips over 2%

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 10 were trading in the green, while 40 were in the red.
NEW DELHI: Realty shares were trading with losses in Monday's morning session.

Shares of SOBHA (down 2.28 per cent), Mahindra Lifespace Developers (down 2.26 per cent), DLF (down 2.14 per cent), Brigade Enterprises (down 2.01 per cent), Sunteck Realty (down 1.98 per cent), Prestige Estates Projects (down 0.89 per cent) and Indiabulls Real Estate (down 0.67 per cent) were the top losers in the index.

The Nifty Realty index was trading 0.73 per cent down at 304.0 around 10:17 am.


Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 130.35 points at 11950.5 , while the BSE Sensex was down 407.73 points at 40762.39.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 10 were trading in the green, while 40 were in the red.

Shares of Vodafone Idea, YES Bank, GMR Infra, SBI, Tata Motors, Ashok Leyland, PNB, Bharti Infratel and SAIL were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
